Biltmore Estate
In early November, Frank & I decided to take a day trip over to Asheville to explore The Biltmore Estate. Because it was a last minute adventure, we had low expectations for the day.
We were completely blown away by the architecture and detail that went into the construction of this massive home.
On the back of the house, towards the gardens, there is a grand "backporch" that overlooks the mountains. Absolutely stunning.
Since it was pretty cold, Frank & I wandered to the old stables turned coffee shop and bought hot cocoa and apple cider. We held on to those cups to keep us warm because the day was so windy.
After we explored the inside of the house, we took a shuttle over to the winery and restaurants on the other side of the property. I had a Autumn Mule with fall vegetable risotto and it was delicious.
